How to Generate AI Images with Filezons Image Gen

What Image Gen actually does

Filezons already had a tool for writing AI image prompts — Prompt Lab — which is useful if you're taking that prompt somewhere else. Image Gen is different: it generates the image itself, directly in your browser tab, using a dedicated image generation model behind the scenes. You type a description, pick a few settings, and a few seconds later you have an actual picture you can download, share, or send straight into Video Gen to animate.

If you've used tools like this before, the workflow will feel familiar. If you haven't, it's simpler than it sounds — there's no prompt syntax to learn, no negative prompts to fight with, just a plain description of what you want to see.

Step by step: generating your first image

1. Sign in to your Filezons account. If you're new, you get 20 free credits automatically — enough to try Image Gen a few times without paying anything.
2. Open AI Studio ✦ from the navigation bar, then select the Image Gen tab.
3. Choose your aspect ratio — square (1:1) works well for social posts and profile art, landscape (16:9) suits wallpapers and banners, portrait (9:16) fits phone screens and stories, and 4:3 is a good general default for print-style images.
4. Decide if you need HD. Standard quality is sharp enough for most everyday use and costs 1 credit. HD costs 2 credits and is worth it when you plan to print the image, use it somewhere large, or need extra detail.
5. Describe the image in the text box — the more specific, the better (more on that below).
6. Click Generate and wait a few seconds. Filezons shows a loading animation while the image renders.
7. Review your result. From there you can open it full-size, download it directly, or send it straight into Video Gen with one click to animate it.

Writing prompts that actually work

The single biggest factor in how good your image turns out is how specific your description is. "A cat" will get you a cat — but a fairly generic one. "A ginger tabby cat curled up asleep on a windowsill, warm afternoon light, soft shadows" gives the model something much more concrete to work with, and the result usually looks noticeably more intentional.

A few things worth including in your prompt, roughly in this order:

1. Subject — what's the main focus? Be specific: not just "a person" but "a woman in a red coat," not just "a building" but "a glass skyscraper at dusk."
2. Setting or background — where is this happening? A misty forest, a busy street market, a minimalist studio, an open desert.
3. Lighting and mood — golden hour, harsh midday sun, moody and dark, soft and dreamy, neon-lit. Lighting alone can completely change how an image feels.
4. Style — photorealistic, illustrated, watercolor, 3D render, cinematic. If you don't specify, you'll usually get a realistic photo-style result by default.
5. Detail or composition notes — close-up vs. wide shot, symmetry, a particular angle. Optional, but useful for fine-tuning.

If your first result isn't quite right, don't start over from scratch — adjust one or two things in your description and regenerate. Swapping "dramatic lighting" for "soft natural light," or adding "close-up" to a description that came out too wide, usually gets you there faster than writing a brand new prompt.

What Image Gen costs

Image generation runs on the same credit system as the rest of AI Studio, so you're only spending credits on the tools you actually use.

Free accounts get 20 one-time credits to try Image Gen (and everything else in AI Studio) without paying. Beyond that, Image Gen needs the AI Pro plan (₹299/month, 100 credits) or AI Pro Plus (₹499/month, 250 credits, plus priority processing and access to more advanced image models). The ₹99 Filezons Pro plan covers Chat, Code, Writer, and Analyzer, but doesn't include image or video generation — if you try to open Image Gen on that plan, you'll be prompted to upgrade.

Image Gen vs. Prompt Lab — which one do you want?

These two tools solve different problems, and it's worth knowing the difference before you pick one.

Prompt Lab writes a detailed, well-structured text prompt for you — complete with mood presets like dramatic, ethereal, vibrant, or golden hour — that you then take to whichever external AI image tool you already use. It doesn't generate an image itself; it just makes your prompt better.

Image Gen skips that step entirely and generates the actual image for you, right inside Filezons. If you don't already have a preferred external image tool, or you just want the fastest path from idea to finished image, Image Gen is the more direct route.

From image to video

Once you have an image you're happy with, Image Gen's result screen includes an "Animate this" button that takes you straight into Video Gen with your image pre-loaded as the source. From there you can describe how you want it to move — a gentle pan, a character blinking, clouds drifting — and generate a short clip built from that still image instead of starting a video from a blank text description. It's a natural next step if a static image isn't quite enough for what you're making.

Practical tips for better results

1. Be concrete, not vague. Specific nouns and adjectives beat abstract concepts. "A steaming cup of coffee on a wooden table by a rainy window" will outperform "a cozy morning."
2. One clear subject works better than several competing ones. If you describe three different focal points in one prompt, the model has to guess which one matters most.
3. Match your aspect ratio to your actual use case before generating, rather than cropping afterward — you'll get a better composition if the model knows the shape it's working with from the start.
4. Save the HD credit for when you need it. If you're just testing an idea or iterating on a prompt, generate a few standard-quality versions first, then spend the extra credit on HD once you've landed on a description you like.
5. Iterate instead of restarting. Small wording changes are usually more effective than rewriting your whole prompt from zero.
